It’s Time For Youth Camp 2024!
This summer camp will be held at Jacob’s Ladder Camp in Chandler Ok. We will leave for camp at 1pm June 24th and arrive back at the church around 1pm on Friday, June 28th. Camp is an event WHBC students look forward to year-round where they can grow in their walk with The Lord, gain closer community, and have a ton of fun. The cost for student camp will be $150. Speaker —
Doug Stephens
Our camp speaker will be Doug Stephens, the student pastor at Northeast Baptist Church in Ponca City.
Doug has had the privilege of serving as the student pastor at Ponca City’s Northeast Baptist Church for nearly 8 years and has been blessed to do so alongside his wife, Rebecca Stephens. God has blessed them with 3 awesome kids: Lily, Harper, and Deacon.
Doug absolutely loves student ministry and watching students grow in their faith, parents disciple students to look like Christ, and the Church and world changed by believers living the gospel out fearlessly.
When Doug is not working, you can probably find him spending time with his family, playing video games, or duck hunting. Doug is looking forward to a great week with WHBC’s student ministry at Jacob’s Ladder!
Worship —
Emma Schweitzer
Our worship band this week will be led by Emma Schweitzer.
Emma was born & raised in OKC and has a degree in Contemporary Music Performance from the Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma. She has traveled and led worship for many churches across Oklahoma, Texas, & Missouri, and just finished an internship working with UCO's Baptist Collegiate Ministry as the Worship Intern. Emma is now on staff at Together We Church in Yukon, Oklahoma as a Worship Resident.

Camp is $150.
This will be used to help with expenses for the cabins, food, t-shirts, the rope course, and the campground rental.

Yes! We will use one of the Bridge Creek buses, a church van and trailer, and one of our sponsor’s vehicles to transport the students to and from Jacob’s Ladder!

Your Bible!
If you do not have a bible, contact the church office and we will be sure to connect you with one.
A journal and pen for devotional, worship, and group times.
